The Salzgeber family

Already in 1964, at the age of 22 years, Elvira Salzgeber - Bardellini took over the restaurant Solisbrücke from her parents. The current owners, Claudia and HansPeter jr., are the third generation of the family to run the restaurant.

In 1986 the old building was demolished and the current restaurant was rebuilt. The chalet from 1896 used to stand in Davos. It was "moved" to Solis in order to serve as restaurant.

Homemade and local...

We are proud of our range of excellent and local products from the region, Parc Ela and the whole of Graubünden, which we use for our homemade dishes.

  • Our game meat comes from our own and local hunting.

  • We obtain the alpine cheese from the Maran alpine dairy in Arosa

  • Our bread and cakes are homemade and if possible prepared for you with Gran Alpin flour.

  • The eggs come from Gaby Rusterholz's poultry farm in Felsberg.

  • We get the Ziger from the family Meuli from Scharans.

  • Our house wine, the Pinot Noir, comes from the vineyard of the family Jürg Marugg from Fläsch.

  • The organic wine comes from the vineyard of the Boner family in Malans.

For the environment

Since 2019 we have been able to adorn ourselves with the quality seal of the Swiss Tourism Association.

Companies or destinations are awarded. Quality commissions made up of representatives from the most important tourism associations and service providers regularly check the criteria and procedures.

We have written down our environmental principles and anchored environmental responsibility in our organization.

We regularly train and inform our employees about environmental aspects.

We also make a contribution to environmental protection beyond the company.

We consistently minimize, separate and recycle all waste and have a concept for reducing food waste.
